About Seago Line
Seago Line, the Maersk group’s intra-Europe short-sea container carrier across the Mediterranean, Baltic and North Europe. Maersk’s short-sea Europe specialist; the regional counterpart to MCC Transport in Asia.
Main trade areas: Intra-Europe, Mediterranean, Baltic and North Sea.
How to track a Seago Line container
Every Seago Line box carries an ISO 6346 number: four letters (the owner prefix), six digits and a check digit. Seago Line prefixes include SGLU. Enter the container number, the bill of lading or the booking reference and Navo24 detects which one it is.
The tracker joins Seago Line's own events (gate out, loaded, departed, transhipped, discharged) with the vessel's AIS position, so you see where the box is now, not where it was at the last port call.
Seago Line schedules, rates and free time
Before booking, compare sailings on your lane by transit time and real on-time reliability across all carriers, Seago Line included where it publishes schedules.
For the price, FreightRatesMCP shows market rates for 20GP, 40GP and 40HC on a port pair. After arrival, demurrage and detention start once Seago Line's free time runs out, and Navo24 counts the days left on every box.
