About Evergreen
Evergreen Marine, founded in Taiwan in 1968 by Chang Yung-fa; every ship’s name starts with “Ever”. The “Ever Given” that wedged across the Suez Canal in 2021 sailed on Evergreen’s Asia–Europe service.
Main trade areas: Global, Transpacific and Asia–Europe.
Evergreen is a member of the Ocean Alliance, alongside CMA CGM, COSCO, and OOCL.
How to track a Evergreen container
Every Evergreen box carries an ISO 6346 number: four letters (the owner prefix), six digits and a check digit. Evergreen prefixes include EGHU, EGLV, EGSU, EISU, EITU, EMCU, EVRU and HMCU. Enter the container number, the bill of lading or the booking reference and Navo24 detects which one it is.
The tracker joins Evergreen's own events (gate out, loaded, departed, transhipped, discharged) with the vessel's AIS position, so you see where the box is now, not where it was at the last port call.
Evergreen schedules, rates and free time
Before booking, compare sailings on your lane by transit time and real on-time reliability across all carriers, Evergreen included where it publishes schedules.
For the price, FreightRatesMCP shows market rates for 20GP, 40GP and 40HC on a port pair. After arrival, demurrage and detention start once Evergreen's free time runs out, and Navo24 counts the days left on every box.
