About Kambara Kisen
Japanese shipping company founded 1903 in Fukuyama by Katsutaro Kambara, now a core business of the Tsuneishi shipbuilding group. Launched its Japan–China container service in 1994, running Shanghai to Fukuyama, Mizushima and Hiroshima twice weekly.
Main trade areas: Intra-Asia.
How to track a Kambara Kisen container
Every Kambara Kisen box carries an ISO 6346 number: four letters (the owner prefix), six digits and a check digit. Kambara Kisen prefixes include KMBU. Enter the container number, the bill of lading or the booking reference and Navo24 detects which one it is.
The tracker joins Kambara Kisen's own events (gate out, loaded, departed, transhipped, discharged) with the vessel's AIS position, so you see where the box is now, not where it was at the last port call.
Kambara Kisen schedules, rates and free time
Before booking, compare sailings on your lane by transit time and real on-time reliability across all carriers, Kambara Kisen included where it publishes schedules.
For the price, FreightRatesMCP shows market rates for 20GP, 40GP and 40HC on a port pair. After arrival, demurrage and detention start once Kambara Kisen's free time runs out, and Navo24 counts the days left on every box.
