About Heung-A Line
Heung-A Line, a South Korean near-sea carrier founded in 1961 and long one of Korea’s core intra-Asia container operators. In 2020 it merged its container business with Sinokor, consolidating two of Korea’s oldest near-sea lines.
Main trade areas: Intra-Asia, Korea–Japan, Korea–China and Southeast Asia.
How to track a Heung-A Line container
Every Heung-A Line box carries an ISO 6346 number: four letters (the owner prefix), six digits and a check digit. Heung-A Line prefixes include HALU, HASL and HLHU. Enter the container number, the bill of lading or the booking reference and Navo24 detects which one it is.
The tracker joins Heung-A Line's own events (gate out, loaded, departed, transhipped, discharged) with the vessel's AIS position, so you see where the box is now, not where it was at the last port call.
Heung-A Line schedules, rates and free time
Before booking, compare sailings on your lane by transit time and real on-time reliability across all carriers, Heung-A Line included where it publishes schedules.
For the price, FreightRatesMCP shows market rates for 20GP, 40GP and 40HC on a port pair. After arrival, demurrage and detention start once Heung-A Line's free time runs out, and Navo24 counts the days left on every box.
