About Unifeeder
Founded in Aarhus in 1977 and owned by DP World since 2018, Unifeeder runs Europe’s largest feeder and shortsea network as a neutral common carrier. A single Unifeeder sailing can carry boxes for a dozen competing deep-sea lines at once.
Main trade areas: North Europe, Baltic, Mediterranean, Middle East and Intra-Asia.
How to track a Unifeeder container
Every Unifeeder box carries an ISO 6346 number: four letters (the owner prefix), six digits and a check digit. Unifeeder prefixes include UNFU. Enter the container number, the bill of lading or the booking reference and Navo24 detects which one it is.
The tracker joins Unifeeder's own events (gate out, loaded, departed, transhipped, discharged) with the vessel's AIS position, so you see where the box is now, not where it was at the last port call.
Unifeeder schedules, rates and free time
Before booking, compare sailings on your lane by transit time and real on-time reliability across all carriers, Unifeeder included where it publishes schedules.
For the price, FreightRatesMCP shows market rates for 20GP, 40GP and 40HC on a port pair. After arrival, demurrage and detention start once Unifeeder's free time runs out, and Navo24 counts the days left on every box.
