About Seatrade
Antwerp-based specialist founded 1951, the world’s largest dedicated reefer operator, moving perishables, with ship management run out of Groningen, Netherlands. Seatrade runs purpose-built refrigerated ships rather than relying on reefer boxes, keeping fruit and fish cold end to end.
Seatrade was founded in 1951 and is headquartered in Groningen, Netherlands. Its main trade areas: Global.
How to track a Seatrade container
Every Seatrade box carries an ISO 6346 number: four letters (the owner prefix), six digits and a check digit. Seatrade prefixes include FDDU and SLJU. Enter the container number, the bill of lading or the booking reference and Navo24 detects which one it is.
The tracker joins Seatrade's own events (gate out, loaded, departed, transhipped, discharged) with the vessel's AIS position, so you see where the box is now, not where it was at the last port call.
Seatrade schedules, rates and free time
Before booking, compare sailings on your lane by transit time and real on-time reliability across all carriers, Seatrade included where it publishes schedules.
For the price, FreightRatesMCP shows market rates for 20GP, 40GP and 40HC on a port pair. After arrival, demurrage and detention start once Seatrade's free time runs out, and Navo24 counts the days left on every box.
