Track a box, pick a sailing, price the lane and count the free days. Every tool below works for Folk Maritime boxes and lanes.
Saudi Arabian feeder and regional carrier launched in 2023, owned by the Public Investment Fund and based in Riyadh. A Vision 2030 play; the Kingdom’s sovereign wealth fund stood it up to build homegrown Red Sea shipping muscle.
Main trade areas: Red Sea, Middle East and East Africa.
Every Folk Maritime box carries an ISO 6346 number: four letters (the owner prefix), six digits and a check digit. Folk Maritime prefixes include FOLK and FLKU. Enter the container number, the bill of lading or the booking reference and Navo24 detects which one it is.
The tracker joins Folk Maritime's own events (gate out, loaded, departed, transhipped, discharged) with the vessel's AIS position, so you see where the box is now, not where it was at the last port call.
Before booking, compare sailings on your lane by transit time and real on-time reliability across all carriers, Folk Maritime included where it publishes schedules.
For the price, FreightRatesMCP shows market rates for 20GP, 40GP and 40HC on a port pair. After arrival, demurrage and detention start once Folk Maritime's free time runs out, and Navo24 counts the days left on every box.
Folk Maritime's Standard Carrier Alpha Code is FOLK.
Folk Maritime containers use the owner prefixes FOLK and FLKU, followed by six digits and a check digit.
Paste the container, bill of lading or booking number into the tracking box on this page. No sign-up is needed for a single lookup.
