About Alianca
Aliança, the Brazilian line founded 1950 by Carl Fischer, now a Maersk company via the 2017 Hamburg Süd acquisition. It started hauling fruit between Brazil and Argentina on a single ship in 1950.
Main trade areas: Latin America, Atlantic and Caribbean.
How to track a Alianca container
Every Alianca box carries an ISO 6346 number: four letters (the owner prefix), six digits and a check digit. Alianca prefixes include ALBU. Enter the container number, the bill of lading or the booking reference and Navo24 detects which one it is.
The tracker joins Alianca's own events (gate out, loaded, departed, transhipped, discharged) with the vessel's AIS position, so you see where the box is now, not where it was at the last port call.
Alianca schedules, rates and free time
Before booking, compare sailings on your lane by transit time and real on-time reliability across all carriers, Alianca included where it publishes schedules.
For the price, FreightRatesMCP shows market rates for 20GP, 40GP and 40HC on a port pair. After arrival, demurrage and detention start once Alianca's free time runs out, and Navo24 counts the days left on every box.
