Custom AI agents for logistics

Nav. The end of 15-tab logistics

We build an AI agent around the way your team ships. It quotes, tracks, watches free time and prepares bookings across carriers, then hands every decision that costs money to a person.

The problem

Your team runs logistics in 15 tabs.

Carrier portals for rates. Another portal for tracking. Email threads for every booking. A spreadsheet for demurrage. Every shipment means copying the same container number, port and date from one screen to the next, and the risk lives in whoever remembers to check.

One agent does the checking. You step in only when it matters.

What Nav is

An agent built for your operations, not a generic chatbot.

Nav is a service. We design, configure and run an AI agent for your company on top of the Navo24 logistics APIs. You get a working agent that knows your lanes, your carriers and your rules, plus a team that maintains it.

Configured for your lanes, carriers and approval rules
Runs on live Navo24 data: rates, tracking, schedules and loading
Lives where your team already works: your AI assistant, email or a web workspace
Maintained and monitored by Navo24 every month
How it works

From first call to a live agent.

1

Scoping call

We map one workflow that costs your team the most time today: quoting, tracking, free time or booking.
2

Design

We agree what the agent does on its own, what it prepares for approval and which systems it connects to.
3

Build

We configure the agent on Navo24 APIs, connect your data sources and set your approval rules.
4

Pilot

The agent works on your real shipments next to your team. You review every action and we tune it.

Go live

The agent takes over the workflow. We monitor it, report on it and extend it to the next workflow.
A first agent on Navo24 APIs is usually live from 2 weeks. Agents that connect to your TMS, ERP or mailbox take longer, and we agree the timeline on the scoping call.
What an agent is made of

Four building blocks.

Block 4

Your channels and systems

Your AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot), email, a web workspace, and optional connections to your TMS, ERP or spreadsheets.
Block 3

Your rules

Lanes, preferred carriers, budget limits, free time terms, who approves what, and how the agent should write to your customers.
Block 2

AI model

The reasoning layer that reads requests, plans the steps and writes the answer. Managed by Navo24 by default, or chosen by you (see Pricing).

Works standalone. Integrates when you need it.

Example agents

Agents our clients start with.

TrackingMCP

Tracking dispatcher

Watches every active container and flight, flags delays and changes as soon as the carrier or AIS signal moves, and writes the update for your customer.
FreightRatesMCP

Rate scout

Takes a lane, container type and date, collects rates from connected providers and returns a ranked shortlist with transit times. Prices are shown as indicative until the provider confirms the booking.
TrackingMCP

Free time guard

Tracks free time, demurrage and detention for each container, reminds your team before charges start and prepares the pickup or return request.
FreightRatesMCP

Booking assistant

Turns an approved quote into a ready booking: cargo details, routing and documents checklist. A person confirms before anything is sent.
TrackingMCP

Customer update writer

Answers "where is my cargo" emails with live status, in your tone and your customer's language, for your team to send or for the agent to send under your rules.
SchedulesMCP

Schedule planner

Finds sailings that meet a cargo ready date and a delivery deadline and explains the trade-off between price and transit time.
You stay in control

The agent does the work. You make the calls.

Every agent runs with written approval rules. Anything that commits money, changes a booking or speaks for you in a new way waits for a person.

Example deployments

Illustrative scenarios

Mid-size importer

Europe
An importer moving FCL from China to Northern Europe had two coordinators checking six carrier sites every morning. A Tracking dispatcher and a Free time guard now watch every container and send one morning summary. The team handles exceptions only.

Freight forwarder

Asia to Australia
A forwarder quoting 40HC from Ningbo, Shanghai and Shenzhen to Sydney and Melbourne used to answer rate requests the next day. A Rate scout prepares a shortlist with transit times inside the quote email thread, and a sales person approves and sends.

E-commerce brand

Mixed ocean and air
A brand shipping ocean for stock and air for launches needed one place to see both. A Customer update writer answers order status questions from live ocean and AWB data, and escalates delays to the operations lead.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to set up an agent?

A first agent on Navo24 APIs is usually live from 2 weeks. Integrations with your own systems add time, and we agree the plan on the scoping call.

Do we need to integrate with your systems?

No. An agent can start with Navo24 data and your AI assistant or email. Connections to your TMS, ERP or spreadsheets are optional.

Can we choose the AI model?

Yes. By default Navo24 runs and tunes the model. If you pick your own, the guarantee does not apply and setup and monthly fees are higher.

What does the agent do without asking us?

It searches, compares, tracks, reminds and prepares drafts. Anything that commits money, changes a booking or contacts a customer on a new topic waits for approval.

How is it priced?

One-time setup, a monthly subscription, Navo24 API usage and AI usage. We send a quote after the scoping call.

Are the rates final?

Rates found by the agent are indicative until the provider confirms the booking.

Which assistants does it work with?

Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, plus email and a web workspace.
