About Viasea Shipping
Viasea Shipping, founded 2016 in Norway (Moss), a short-sea container operator recently acquired by Ellerman City Liners. It won Norwegian state backing to buy two hydrogen-powered container ships for its Norway–Baltic routes.
Main trade areas: North Europe and Baltic.
How to track a Viasea Shipping container
Every Viasea Shipping box carries an ISO 6346 number: four letters (the owner prefix), six digits and a check digit. Enter the container number, the bill of lading or the booking reference and Navo24 detects which one it is.
The tracker joins Viasea Shipping's own events (gate out, loaded, departed, transhipped, discharged) with the vessel's AIS position, so you see where the box is now, not where it was at the last port call.
Viasea Shipping schedules, rates and free time
Before booking, compare sailings on your lane by transit time and real on-time reliability across all carriers, Viasea Shipping included where it publishes schedules.
For the price, FreightRatesMCP shows market rates for 20GP, 40GP and 40HC on a port pair. After arrival, demurrage and detention start once Viasea Shipping's free time runs out, and Navo24 counts the days left on every box.
