About VASI Shipping
VASI Shipping was a Singapore containership operator, founded 2012, running intra-Asia routes before filing for bankruptcy in 2025. It became the first liner casualty of 2025, selling off all three of its owned ships to repay debt.
Main trade areas: Intra-Asia and Indian subcontinent.
How to track a VASI Shipping container
Every VASI Shipping box carries an ISO 6346 number: four letters (the owner prefix), six digits and a check digit. Enter the container number, the bill of lading or the booking reference and Navo24 detects which one it is.
The tracker joins VASI Shipping's own events (gate out, loaded, departed, transhipped, discharged) with the vessel's AIS position, so you see where the box is now, not where it was at the last port call.
VASI Shipping schedules, rates and free time
Before booking, compare sailings on your lane by transit time and real on-time reliability across all carriers, VASI Shipping included where it publishes schedules.
For the price, FreightRatesMCP shows market rates for 20GP, 40GP and 40HC on a port pair. After arrival, demurrage and detention start once VASI Shipping's free time runs out, and Navo24 counts the days left on every box.
