About Sidra Line
Sidra Line, an Istanbul-based container feeder operator running owned and chartered ships across the Mediterranean and adjoining seas. Despite the Qatari-sounding name, it’s a Turkish outfit; ’sidra’ is the Arabic lote tree, not a Doha address.
Main trade areas: Mediterranean, Black Sea, Red Sea, Middle East and Intra-Asia.
How to track a Sidra Line container
Every Sidra Line box carries an ISO 6346 number: four letters (the owner prefix), six digits and a check digit. Sidra Line prefixes include SDR2 and SDRA. Enter the container number, the bill of lading or the booking reference and Navo24 detects which one it is.
The tracker joins Sidra Line's own events (gate out, loaded, departed, transhipped, discharged) with the vessel's AIS position, so you see where the box is now, not where it was at the last port call.
Sidra Line schedules, rates and free time
Before booking, compare sailings on your lane by transit time and real on-time reliability across all carriers, Sidra Line included where it publishes schedules.
For the price, FreightRatesMCP shows market rates for 20GP, 40GP and 40HC on a port pair. After arrival, demurrage and detention start once Sidra Line's free time runs out, and Navo24 counts the days left on every box.
