About Ellerman
Ellerman Lines, a historic British brand; first established in 1892; trading again today. A revived Victorian-era name, once one of Britain’s great shipping houses.
Ellerman Lines (Ellerman) was founded in 1892 and is headquartered in London, United Kingdom. Its main trade areas: North Europe and Mediterranean.
How to track a Ellerman container
Every Ellerman box carries an ISO 6346 number: four letters (the owner prefix), six digits and a check digit. Ellerman prefixes include ELLU and UNSU. Enter the container number, the bill of lading or the booking reference and Navo24 detects which one it is.
The tracker joins Ellerman's own events (gate out, loaded, departed, transhipped, discharged) with the vessel's AIS position, so you see where the box is now, not where it was at the last port call.
Ellerman schedules, rates and free time
Before booking, compare sailings on your lane by transit time and real on-time reliability across all carriers, Ellerman included where it publishes schedules.
For the price, FreightRatesMCP shows market rates for 20GP, 40GP and 40HC on a port pair. After arrival, demurrage and detention start once Ellerman's free time runs out, and Navo24 counts the days left on every box.
