About Cosiarma
Cosiarma, a Genoa-based reefer shipping operator spun off in 2007 from Costa Container Lines, tied to Italy’s GF Group/Orsero fruit business. Its owned reefer ships run the banana route, hauling bananas and pineapples from Colombia and Costa Rica to Vado Ligure.
Main trade areas: Mediterranean, Latin America and Caribbean.
How to track a Cosiarma container
Every Cosiarma box carries an ISO 6346 number: four letters (the owner prefix), six digits and a check digit. Enter the container number, the bill of lading or the booking reference and Navo24 detects which one it is.
The tracker joins Cosiarma's own events (gate out, loaded, departed, transhipped, discharged) with the vessel's AIS position, so you see where the box is now, not where it was at the last port call.
Cosiarma schedules, rates and free time
Before booking, compare sailings on your lane by transit time and real on-time reliability across all carriers, Cosiarma included where it publishes schedules.
For the price, FreightRatesMCP shows market rates for 20GP, 40GP and 40HC on a port pair. After arrival, demurrage and detention start once Cosiarma's free time runs out, and Navo24 counts the days left on every box.
